Section 2. The owner of each structure located in Trigg County is required to apply to the Trigg County 911 Coordinator for the establishment and designation of a mailing address except only those structures previously assigned an address by number and street or roadway.

Section 3. The owner of each structure located in Trigg County shall display the number assigned to the structure in such a manner so that said designated number shall be clearly visible to emergency vehicles.

Section 4. Numerals indicating the official address for each structure shall be posted in a manner as to be visible, legible and distinguishable from the street or roadway on which the property is located by adhering to the following standards:

  • Numerals shall be plain block Arabic numbers. No scrip or written numbers shall be permitted under this Ordinance.

  • Numbers shall be a minimum of three (3) inches in height.

  • Numbers shall be in contrasting colors to the building wall or mail box to which said numbers are mounted to. • In no event shall any assigned street numbers be displayed less then fifty (50) feet from the nearest street or roadway.
